Uttar Pradesh: On Thursday, a shocking incident happened in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh. An official said that a man had to pay a huge price for asking his wife for a cup of tea in Baghpat of Uttar Pradesh. A woman allegedly stabbed her husband in the eye with scissors after he asked for a cup of tea.
After this, the woman absconded in order to avoid being apprehended by the police. The victim has been identified as Ankit who stays at House No. 6 on Badoli Road in the district. As per reports, Ankit asked his wife for tea, over which she got furious and stabbed him in his eyes with a pair of scissors.
Upon hearing the noise, Ankit’s sister-in-law came out and informed the police about the incident. After receiving information about the incident the police reached the spot and took the injured man to a private hospital in Meerut.
The police have also filed an FIR into the matter. The police officer said,”A case has been registered at Baraut police station in connection with the attack by the wife on her husband with scissors due to family issues,” the police said.
A complaint also filed against his brother and sister-in-law. Notably, Ankit had married the woman three years ago, but their marital life was never smooth as soon after, they started having frequent fights over domestic issues. According to the police, just three days before the crime was committed, Ankit’s wife had also filed a complaint of assault against him and his family.
