Rajasthan: On Tuesday, police said that a student preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) died by suicide in Kota district of Rajasthan. He was 16-yr-old. Afrer receiving information about this incident, police reached on the spot.
According to the information, this is the third suicide incident reported from Kota this year. Last year, 27 students, preparing for different competitive examination died by suicide in the Kota district.
Giving details about this incident, Kota Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhawani singh said, “The incident took place between 3am-4am on Tuesday. In the morning, when he did not respond to his partners calls, they reached out to the hostel warden who later found his body.”
The DSP said that the student was studying in kota for past two years. He added that the student from Chhattisgarh took the extreme step in his hotel room in Mahaveer Nagar area of Kota.
