The incident occurred in the Bah region, where a sudden beehive collapse from a nearby tree caught the students off-guard, triggering the attack.

School staff swiftly evacuated the affected area, but numerous students and faculty members were stung before the evacuation.

Concerned parents gathered outside the school premises, alleging negligence by the administration for failing to ensure student safety. They claimed that despite the school’s awareness of the hive near the gate, no action was taken.

In defense, school principal Manju Rani Tyagi stated that the beehive was outside the premises, making such an attack seem unlikely. She assured that injured students received prompt medical care at the Bah Community Health Centre, leading to temporary school closure.

Jitendra Verma, Superintendent of the Bah Community Health Centre, confirmed that six critically injured children were referred to S.N. Medical College after initial treatment.

Authorities are investigating the incident to determine further actions and prevent future occurrences.
