Bihar Police Uncover Scandalous Baby-making Racket; 8 Arrested

In a startling revelation, Bihar’s Nawada district witnessed the arrest of eight individuals involved in a deceptive scheme that preyed on childless couples. The illicit operation, titled the ‘All India Pregnant Job Agency,’ targeted vulnerable individuals by offering them substantial sums of money for aiding in impregnating women allegedly unable to conceive naturally. The primary orchestrator of the operation, identified as Munna Kumar, remains at large.

WhatsApp Deceived

Utilizing modern communication channels, the accused reached out to unsuspecting individuals through WhatsApp, soliciting assistance in impregnating women purportedly facing difficulties conceiving. The ‘agency’ manipulated the situation by showcasing pictures of women to potential participants, drawing them into the elaborate scam.

The scam capitalized on the desperation of individuals longing for parenthood, promising a handsome reward of ₹13 lakh upon the successful conception of a child. To initiate their scheme, the culprits levied a nominal registration fee of ₹799, masquerading as a gateway to a life-changing sum.

Exploitative Tactics: Escalating Payments and Beauty Standards

Operatives of the fraudulent agency reached out to potential victims through WhatsApp, presenting them with fabricated stories of women in distress seeking fertility assistance. Subsequent to capturing their attention, the deceitful actors escalated their exploitation by soliciting additional payments under various pretexts, including security deposits. These payments ranged between ₹5,000 to ₹20,000, with fluctuating rates based on the perceived attractiveness of the purported women.

Victims Assured Prize Money Despite Scheme’s Failure

To further ensnare their victims, the scam artists guaranteed a financial windfall of ₹13 lakh upon successful conception. In instances where the fraudulent endeavor failed, participants were offered a purported “consolation prize” amounting to ₹5 lakh. The law enforcement agencies have vowed to pursue all leads vigorously and ensure that the mastermind, Munna Kumar, faces justice, bringing an end to this exploitative and morally reprehensible scheme
