In a significant move ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has introduced a fresh list of candidates across four states. Notably, Abhijit Das emerges as a key contender, positioned to contest against Mamata Banerjee’s nephew, Abhishek Banerjee, in West Bengal’s Diamond Harbour constituency. Furthermore, Udayanraje Bhonsle has been nominated for Maharashtra’s Satara seat.

The BJP’s candidate roster comprises seven individuals, with a notable presence in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and West Bengal. Highlighted candidates include Anita Som Parkash for Hoshiarpur, Parampal Kaur Sidhu for Bathinda, and Thakur Vishwadeep Singh for Firozabad.
Beyond the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP’s strategic announcements extend to the Odisha Assembly polls and upcoming bypolls in Telangana and Uttar Pradesh.
