BJP’s Intensified Efforts for a Successful Dalit Meet on November 2

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is bolstering its outreach to the Dalit community by organizing a grand Dalit meet in the state capital on November 2, as part of a series of six planned gatherings. This initiative underscores the party’s commitment to maintaining its strong connection with Dalits and Other Backward Classes (OBCs), pivotal in the BJP’s remarkable electoral successes since 2014.

At a recent meeting of the party’s scheduled caste and scheduled tribe (SC/ST) wing in Sitapur, state BJP General Secretary (Organisation) Dharampal Singh urged party members to ensure robust representation of Dalit cadres from every booth in the Awadh region at the November 2 event. Singh emphasized the importance of highlighting the significant achievements made by the BJP’s double-engine government for the entire society.

Singh, who has been instrumental in organizing Dalit and women-centric meets, criticized the Congress for exploiting the scheduled caste and tribes for votes without substantial benefits. He contrasted this with the BJP’s proactive approach, citing tangible improvements in the lives of these communities under the BJP government’s policies.

Additionally, Singh highlighted the BJP’s focus on empowering women, emphasizing initiatives such as the successful passage of the women’s reservation bill under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He noted that women occupy a central role in the government’s decision-making processes, underscoring the various women-centric schemes introduced by BJP governments.

By strengthening ties with Dalits and emphasizing their achievements, the BJP aims to solidify its position as a party dedicated to social inclusivity and progress.
