CM Yogi Adityanath warning after gangster Atiq Ahmed killing; ‘Now, mafia can’t…’

Lucknow: After Atiq Ahmed murder, CM Yogi Adityanath appeared in a public event for the first time on Tuesday. During this time, he gave the first reaction to the law and order of the state after the murder. At the same time, the Chief Minister has also given a strict warning. Addressing this program, the CM said that now the mafia cannot scare anyone.

CM Yogi said, “Every single capital of those who invest in UP will be protected. There was a period in UP when the identity of UP was destroyed. The progress of UP is not hidden from anyone. Kanpur Kabhi Kapad Udyog was the center. Again the identity of UP is coming back. Now there is excellent connectivity in UP.” Actually, CM Yogi was speaking during a program in Lucknow.

The Chief Minister said, “Prior to 2017, the law and order system of UP was worse. Now the mafia cannot scare anyone. Now there is no riot in any district of UP. Our government has made UP riot-free. Now there is rule of law in UP.” Now the mafia can’t threaten anyone. No curfew has been imposed in six years. UP now has the rule of law. Earlier there were daily riots in UP.”

Let us tell you that Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf Ahmed were shot dead on April 15. According to the information, former MP Atiq Ahmed and his brother and former MLA Ashraf, accused in the Umesh Pal murder case, were shot dead by three assailants while talking to the media late on Saturday at around 10 pm.

At the time of the incident, Atiq and Ashraf were being taken to the hospital by the police for medical examination.The Uttar Pradesh government formed a three-member judicial panel to look into killings which will submit its report within two months. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has also been formed to probe the Ahmed brothers’ murder.
