New Delhi: Another incident of knife attack has come to light in the capital Delhi. On Thursday, a 24-year-old youth was stabbed to death in Wazirabad area. A police officer said that due to personal enmity, a person stabbed the youth. Both already knew each other. Accused has been arrested.
Police Commissioner Sagar Singh Kalsi said, the stabbing was reported around 10.40 am on Thursday. The victim was then taken to Babu Jagjivan Ram Memorial Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. After stabbing the youth, the accused fled from the spot. A friend of the accused was waiting for him with a motorcycle at some distance from the spot. After stabbing the young man with a knife, the accused fled on a motorcycle. The young man has been stabbed with a knife under his chest. The young man died after being seriously injured.
The police officer said, the accused has been arrested. During interrogation, it has emerged that both accused Abdul Mashad and victim Mohd Faizan knew each other for more than a year. The two reportedly often consumed drugs together. There was a dispute between the two regarding some matter. After a dispute, Abdul killed Faizan. Based on the complaint of the victim’s brother Mohammad Fazil, a case of murder has been registered against the accused under section 302.
