Andhra Pradesh: In a tragic turn of events, three individuals lost their lives and two others sustained critical injuries in a collision between a speeding car and a lorry near Musunur Toll Plaza in Kavali Rural Mandal, Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore, Andhra Pradesh.
A heart-wrenching incident unfolded as a vehicle carrying passengers returning from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, collided with a lorry, resulting in the loss of three lives and severe injuries to two others.
Law enforcement officials reported that the deceased and injured individuals were traveling back from Chennai when the tragic accident occurred. Among the casualties were two women hailing from Koyyalagudem in the West Godavari district. Reports suggest that the women had visited Chennai to purchase imitation gold and were on their way home when the collision took place.
Upon receiving notification of the accident, authorities swiftly responded to the scene and facilitated the transfer of the injured to Samisa Hospital for urgent medical treatment. However, despite the efforts to save lives, three individuals succumbed to their injuries, while two others remain in critical condition.
The police have initiated an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the collision and have filed a case in connection with the incident. Efforts are underway to ascertain the cause of the accident and determine any potential factors contributing to the tragic outcome.
