Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s wife, Kalpana, posted a heartfelt note on their 18th wedding anniversary as Hemant Soren remains in jail. The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a money laundering case. In her message, Kalpana expressed confidence that Hemant would overcome the “conspiracy” and return home soon. The former Chief Minister resigned just before his arrest, and his close aide Champai Soren has assumed the role of Chief Minister.
