I.N.D.I.A Bloc’s March 31 Rally in Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan. Gopal Rai, a prominent AAP leader and Delhi Minister, voiced concerns over what he perceives as an assault on democracy. He called upon citizens across the country to join the rally at 10 am on March 31 to oppose what he termed as “dictatorship”.
In a scathing attack on the BJP-led Centre, Rai accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of abusing central agencies. He expressed solidarity with Kejriwal, asserting that the arrest has ignited nationwide indignation among those who value constitutional principles.
During the I.N.D.I.A bloc’s press conference in the capital, Rai highlighted the systematic targeting of opposition figures through alleged coercion and manipulation tactics, including the buying of MLAs and the filing of fabricated cases.
Echoing Rai’s sentiments, Delhi Minister Atishi emphasized that the ‘Maha Rally’ isn’t solely about Kejriwal but about safeguarding democracy itself. She stressed the need to counter what she described as unilateral assaults on the opposition.
