According to IMD, along with this today Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Jharkhand, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Rain with thunder and lightning is expected at isolated places in Tripura, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Lakshadweep.
The IMD has forecast a possibility of stormy weather (wind speed reaching 45-55 kmph gusting to 65 kmph) along Kerala coast and Lakshadweep region. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into these areas.
