IMD predicts heatwave continue in Delhi-NCR for next few days

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that the temperature in Delhi is set to rise in the coming days. The weather agency has predicted dry days and clear skies in the national capital.

New Delhi: Monsoon Update has arrived in Kerala. Due to this, the weather is going to take a turn in many states of the country. But the people of the capital Delhi (Delhi-NCR Weather) are not going to get relief from the heat due to the arrival of monsoon.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that the temperature in Delhi is set to rise in the coming days. The weather agency has predicted dry days and clear skies in the national capital.

Although no heatwave warning has been issued for Delhi-NCR, it may be experienced at isolated places. According to IMD, after knocking in Kerala, the southwest monsoon is now ready to knock in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. On the other hand, due to the formation of a low pressure area over the northeastern Bay of Bengal, the northeastern states will also receive monsoon rains in the next two days.

According to IMD, conditions of better rains are developing in North West India in the fourth week of June and the first week of July. Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura are likely to receive heavy rains on Saturday, while the region will see thunderstorms and lightning in the coming week. Heavy rain has been predicted in Assam and Meghalaya on Monday and Tuesday. On the other hand, the weather of Manipur and Mizoram will be similar on Saturday and Monday.

Heavy rains will occur over Kerala and Coastal Karnataka during the next three days, while similar conditions will prevail over Lakshadweep during the next two days. Overall, there is a possibility of thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds over the region next week.

On the other hand, there will be extremely heavy rains in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim from Sunday to Tuesday. Andaman and Nicobar Islands will receive a lot of rain from Saturday to Sunday. IMD said that the rest of India will not undergo any drastic weather change in the coming week.

The central regions of India will see a drop of 2-3 degree Celsius in the maximum temperature in the next two days. There will be an outbreak of severe heat in some parts of Bihar from Saturday to Tuesday. The Gangetic West Bengal region will also experience a similar situation in these days.
