In a significant update, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has officially revealed the confirmed guest list for the upcoming idol consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
The much-anticipated Pran Pratishtha ceremony is scheduled for January 22, 2024. Invitations have been extended to a diverse array of guests, including seers, priests, religious leaders nationwide, and both former and current administrative officers and journalists stationed in the Ayodhya region.

During a press conference on Monday, Champat Rai, the general secretary of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, shared, “The guest list is carefully crafted, encompassing four thousand saints from various traditions across the country, representing every state from Arunachal Pradesh to Tripura, Mizoram to Meghalaya, Sikkim to Andaman Nicobar, Jharkhand to Chhattisgarh. Religious leaders from 125 different sects, mahants from 13 Akhadas, acharyas from six darshan, and prominent figures such as Shankaracharyas, Baba Ramdev, Amma of Kerala Maa Amrtanandamayi, Dalai Lama, and Rahul Bodhi from Mumbai have all been invited.”
Rai also revealed that the puja will commence on January 16, with the auspicious “muhurat” for Pran Pratistha set around noon on January 22, spanning an additional 48 days. Accommodations for 1,000 people have been arranged at Karsevak Puram, and an additional 850 individuals will be hosted at the Yoga and Prakritik Centre of Nritya Gopal Das. Local residents, temples, and ashrams will also contribute accommodations for arriving guests.
The meticulously curated guest list for the ceremony includes notable figures from various fields, such as industrialists, scientists, actors, and army officers, including Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan awardees. Attendees scheduled to grace the ceremony include the likes of the Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama, Baba Ramdev, Gautam Adani, Mukesh Ambani, Natarajan Chandrasekaran of the Tata Group, and S N Subrahmanyan of the L&T Group. Renowned actors, including Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Madhuri Dixit Nene, and Arun Govil, are also among the distinguished invitees set to add grandeur to the occasion.
