Modi Asserts BJP’s Ascent in Telangana, Criticizes KCR’s Unfulfilled Promises and Scams

Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared the imminent rise of a BJP government in Telangana, accusing Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) of delivering “scams instead of promised schemes.” Modi addressed two rallies in the state ahead of the November 30 assembly elections, criticizing the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Congress for corruption, dynastic politics, and neglecting other backward classes.

During a rally in Medak district, Modi criticized KCR for failing to fulfill promises of employment opportunities, irrigation facilities, and a Dalit chief minister. He accused KCR of misleading the public with unfulfilled commitments and delivering scams instead of promises. Modi highlighted the incomplete implementation of the Dalit Bandhu scheme and the alleged focus on personal gain over state development.

Modi questioned KCR’s decision to contest from a second constituency, suggesting fear of defeat in his home constituency. Urging people to vote for the BJP, Modi emphasized the need for a change from the nine-and-a-half years of unfulfilled promises under BRS rule.

The Prime Minister also accused both BRS and Congress of practicing dynastic politics, concentrating power in a few families. He alleged corruption within both parties, citing kickbacks for BRS MLAs and accusing KCR of focusing on personal wealth rather than addressing the state’s issues.

Highlighting the displacement caused by the Mallannasagar project, Modi expressed concern for the affected farmers and criticized KCR for neglecting their plight. He vowed to resolve the issues faced by other backward classes once the BJP comes to power in Telangana.

In another rally in Nirmal district, Modi announced the formation of the National Turmeric Board, fulfilling a long-standing demand of local turmeric farmers. He pledged to transform Nizamabad into a “Turmeric City” and provide a Geographical Indication (GI) tag to Armor turmeric, benefiting turmeric farmers in Nirmal.

Modi emphasized the BJP’s commitment to development, contrasting it with what he deemed as appeasement politics by BRS and Congress. He highlighted discrepancies in their approach, questioning the establishment of an IT park based on religious grounds. Additionally, he promised prompt delivery of houses to beneficiaries and guaranteed the BJP’s focus on development in Telangana.
