Nagpur: A heartbreaking incident occurred in Pipra village, located approximately 30 km from Nagpur city in Maharashtra, where a father allegedly took the life of his 28-year-old son amid a heated altercation, police revealed on Wednesday.

The Fatal Dispute and tragic Outcome

The altercation erupted when the son, Suraj, objected to his father, Ramrao Kakde, speaking loudly on the phone. Kakde, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, responded aggressively, striking Suraj with a steel rod during the confrontation, according to officials from the Bela police station.

Suraj was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment following the altercation, but tragically succumbed to his injuries the following day.

It’s reported that both Kakde and Suraj were intoxicated at the time of the incident, adding a layer of complexity to the tragic event.

Legal Action

Following the incident, authorities swiftly apprehended Kakde, who now faces charges under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The swift arrest underscores the gravity with which law enforcement is treating this case.The incident has left the community reeling with shock .
