Over 25 passengers wounded after bus overturns on National Highway 44 in Morena district of MP

Madhya Pradesh: An official said that at least 25 passengers were injured after their bus lost control and overturned on National Highway 44 late Monday night. Around 30 passengers were onboard the bus at the time of the accident.

Madhya Pradesh: An official said that at least 25 passengers were injured after their bus lost control and overturned on National Highway 44 late Monday night. Around 30 passengers were onboard the bus at the time of the accident.

The officials also said that the injured individuals were taken to Morena District Hospital for medical treatment. They added that they were going from Gwalior to Rajasthan for the darshan of Mehandipur Balaji.

RMO, Morena District Hospital Dr Surendra Gurjar said, “We received 25-30 patients in critical condition. Their treatment has begun. All our doctors and medical teams are working…”

About this incident, Inspector Alok Parihar said that the bus was carrying devotees and was going from Gwalior to Mehandipur Balaji for darshan. He said, “The injured have been admitted to the hospital here. They are being given the best possible treatment. They have been shifted to the ward.”
