PM Modi Declares BJP as India’s Preferred Party on Party’s Foundation Day

On the occasion of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) 44th Foundation Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a resounding message, expressing confidence that the party has earned the status of India’s preferred political entity. He reiterated the BJP’s commitment to continue its transformative journey at the helm of the nation, building upon the strides made in the past decade.

In his address, PM Modi extended greetings to BJP members, highlighting that the youth of India perceive the party as a beacon of hope capable of fulfilling their aspirations. He emphasized that the BJP has ushered in an era of clean and transparent governance, ensuring equitable development that reaches every stratum of society without bias.

“India today prioritizes clean and transparent governance, ensuring the fruits of development reach the poorest without discrimination,” PM Modi stated, underlining the party’s departure from the vices of corruption, cronyism, casteism, communalism, and vote bank politics.

Reflecting on the BJP’s achievements, PM Modi credited the party with freeing India from these entrenched issues, paving the way for an environment conducive to progress and growth. He commended the BJP’s efforts in redefining good governance, citing the empowerment of marginalized sections of society through various schemes and policies.

The Prime Minister lauded the BJP’s commitment to holistic development, which has enhanced the quality of life for all Indians. He paid tribute to the pioneering individuals who have contributed to the party’s growth, acknowledging their hard work and sacrifices.

“Powered by our dedicated karyakartas, our party embodies the aspirations and dreams of 140 crore Indians,” PM Modi affirmed, highlighting the BJP’s role as a unifying force that represents the collective hopes of the nation’s youth.

Expressing pride in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), PM Modi emphasized its synergy between national progress and regional aspirations. He hailed the NDA as a vibrant alliance that celebrates India’s diversity, predicting its continued strength in the future.

Looking ahead to the upcoming general elections, PM Modi expressed optimism about the BJP’s prospects. “India is poised to elect a new Lok Sabha, and I am confident that the people will bless us with another term to continue our work from the past decade,” he stated.

The BJP, founded in 1980 by leaders of the erstwhile Bharatiya Jana Sangh, has evolved significantly over the years. From humble beginnings with just two Lok Sabha seats in 1984, the party rapidly ascended under leaders like Atal Bihari Vajpayee and LK Advani. PM Modi’s leadership propelled the BJP to a historic majority in 2014 and expanded mandate in 2019.

As the political landscape gears up for the upcoming seven-phase polls starting on April 19, many political analysts view the BJP as the frontrunner for a third consecutive term in power. The party’s legacy of transformative governance and nationalistic values remains central to its appeal among voters across the country.
