Prashant Kishor Makes Bold Prediction: Nitish Kumar to Secure Less Than 20 Seats in 2025

Political strategist Prashant Kishor delivered a scathing assessment of Nitish Kumar, his former political mentor, as Bihar gears up for a new government with Nitish set to become Chief Minister with BJP support. Accusing Nitish Kumar of deceiving the people of Bihar, Kishor predicted that the alliance between Nitish and the BJP would not endure beyond the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Regardless of Nitish Kumar’s choice of alliance in the 2025 Bihar Assembly election, be it with the BJP or RJD, Kishor confidently asserted that Nitish’s party would not secure more than 20 seats.

“If Nitish Kumar wins more than 20 seats in the next Assembly election, I will take retirement from my work. Please write it down,” challenged Prashant Kishor, emphasizing his conviction. Kishor added that the people of Bihar would respond to Nitish Kumar with interest.

Highlighting the current political landscape in Bihar, Kishor outlined two factions – Nitish Kumar aligned with the BJP and the opposing RJD and other parties. However, he anticipated significant developments in the state before the next Bihar election, suggesting a shift in the political dynamics within six months after the Lok Sabha election.

Kishor recalled his earlier prediction about Nitish Kumar’s departure from the Mahagathbandhan, emphasizing that Nitish’s party would not secure more than 5 seats in the Lok Sabha election if he stayed. Subsequently, Kishor asserted that Nitish Kumar’s party would not exceed 20 seats in the state election, sounding what he portrayed as the end of Nitish Kumar’s political prominence in Bihar and hinting at a potential RJD majority in the 2025 Bihar election.
