Rajasthan: On Friday, an official said that an IIT-JEE aspirant died by suicide in Kota, Rajasthan. According to the information received by police reached the on spot. According to the information, The student was identified as Abhishek Kumar.
The official said that he was a native of Bhagalpur district of Bihar. After this incident, the total of such cases so far this year to six. Police said that an IIT-JEE aspirant Kumar allegedly consumed poisonous substance in his rented room in Vigyan Nagar area of the city.
He aaded that a bottle of the poisonous substance and a suicide letter were recovered from Kumar’s room. According to the police, “Sorry papa, I cannot do JEE…,” the suicide note read.
About this incident, a senior officer said that Kumar was also absent for his two exams that were scheduled at his coaching on January 29 and February 19.
