Rajasthan: An official said that a man allegedly thrashed his 17-year-old daughter to death for not preparing for her school examinations in Sirohi district of Rajasthan. After receiving information about this incident local police reached on the spot.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Pushpendra Verma said that the accused was identified as 42-year-old Fateh Mohammad. He was a resident of Prem Nagar, has been arrested.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Mohammed was angry with his daughter, a Class 11 student, as she was not preparing for exams. He said that so, he thrashed her with a stick on Thursday. Based on a complaint lodged by the girl’s uncle, The police arrested Fateh on Saturday.
Police have recovered the stick used by the accused to beat his daughter. According to the DSP, the girl possibly died due to internal injuries. According to the police, the cause of death will become clear only after the postmortem report comes out.
