Jodhpur: In a series of raids across Phalodi district, the Rajasthan Police apprehended seven individuals associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi and Rohit Godara gangs. Two vehicles, both lacking registration plates, were also seized during the operations. The raids were conducted at 13 locations in areas including Lohawat, Bhojasar, and Matora based on intelligence inputs.
One of the arrested individuals is Manish Bishnoi, a notorious criminal from Lohawat with 27 cases registered against him. Six others arrested have prior criminal records, with charges ranging from one to seven cases across various police stations. One detainee has no prior criminal cases.
Phalodi SP Hanuman Prasad stated that the police are currently interrogating the arrested individuals to trace other members of the gangs or criminals associated with them. Some individuals from the list were not found at the given addresses, and the police are actively seeking their whereabouts.
During the raids, the police seized two vehicles, both lacking registration plates, raising concerns about potential criminal activities involving the vehicles.
The police have assured that they will continue to remain vigilant and make additional arrests as soon as they receive information about the whereabouts of other individuals on their list. The ongoing operations aim to dismantle criminal networks associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi and Rohit Godara gangs.
