Rajasthan: Son of Jaswant Singh, Manvendra Singh Jasol returns to BJP ahead of polls

Rajasthan: On Friday, ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024,son of Manvendra Singh Jasol, Jaswant Singh returned to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the Lok Sabha elections on Friday. In Rajasthan, several other leaders including Mahant Nirmal Das, Tarun Rai Kaga, Balram Prajapat, and Ramsingh Bothia also joined the saffron party along with them.

Rajasthan: On Friday, ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024,son of Manvendra Singh Jasol, Jaswant Singh returned to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the Lok Sabha elections on Friday.

In Rajasthan, several other leaders including Mahant Nirmal Das, Tarun Rai Kaga, Balram Prajapat, and Ramsingh Bothia also joined the saffron party along with Manvendra Singh Jasol.

Manvendra Singh Jasol is a former MP from Barmer who won the election in 2004 on a BJP ticket. He won the seat by a margin of over 2.7 lakh votes. Manvendra Singh contested from the Shiv constituency, in the 2013 Rajasthan Assembly elections.

Hr was suspended from the BJP in 2014 due to his campaign against the party’s Lok Sabha candidate in Barmer. In 2018, he quit the BJP and switched to the Congress ahead of the Rajasthan Assembly elections.

However, just ahead of the 2024 elections, he is back in the saffron camp. The BJP has fielded Kailash Choudhary against Congress’ Ummed Ram Beniwal from the Barmer Lok Sabha seat ahead of upcoming election.
