Ayodhya is poised for the momentous ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram Mandir today, and robust security measures are in place to ensure the safety of the event. A comprehensive security plan involves approximately 13,000 personnel, including anti-bomb squads and snipers, to safeguard the proceedings.

Key Security Measures:

Personnel Deployment: Around 13,000 security personnel, including snipers, have been strategically stationed to maintain a multi-layered security cover.

VIP Attendees: Over 7,000 attendees, including politicians, industrialists, saints, and celebrities, are expected at the grand inauguration. Strict security measures are in place for their protection.

CCTV Surveillance: The city is under the watchful eyes of 10,000 CCTV cameras, providing extensive surveillance coverage.AI-powered Drones: Drones equipped with artificial intelligence are deployed to monitor the movement of people and ensure enhanced security.

Anti-mine Drones: Equipped with advanced technology like spectrometer wavelength detection, these drones inspect the ground for mines or explosives.

Security Barricades: Movable barriers with barbed wires are strategically placed at prominent crossings to regulate traffic, especially during VVIP movements.

NDRF Camp: The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has established a camp near the shrine to respond promptly to contingencies.

Rapid Action Force (RAF): RAF personnel are deployed at key locations, including Lata Mangeshkar Chowk.

Anti-bomb and Dog Squads: Specialized squads are stationed at Ayodhya’s Maharishi Valmiki International Airport to ensure the safety of devotees and dignitaries.
River Security: Security along the Saryu river is intensified with the assistance of NDRF and SDRF teams.

AI-based Cameras: Ayodhya’s yellow zone boasts 10,715 AI-based cameras with face recognition technology, reinforcing monitoring and security in key areas.

Specialised Commandos: Nearly 100 SSF commandos, trained in anti-terror tactics by the National Security Guard (NSG), are strategically positioned in and around the temple complex.

CRPF Deployment: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troops are stationed at the main temple to cordon off the sanctum sanctorum.
