Lucknow: STF raids continue in Prayagraj’s famous Umesh Pal murder case. STF teams are raiding every input, so that the absconding attackers can be arrested. In this connection, the police and STF team raided the apartment located in the metropolitan area of ​​the capital Lucknow in search of Asad, the main accused and the son of mafia Atiq Ahmed, who is lodged in Sabarmati Jail. During this, two luxury cars found from the spot were seized.

STF is taking special care in its campaign to nab the culprits of Umesh Pal murder case so that no information regarding the raid is leaked. As soon as any information is received about the absconding attackers, the teams are immediately leaving for the spot. It is being told that STF got the location of Asad in Lucknow.

After this, the team of Prayagraj Commissionerate and STF unit reached the capital. Here the police team raided the flat number 202 of Atik Ahmed located on the second floor of the Universal Apartment located in Mahanagar. STF had received input that the attackers had stayed here after the incident. However, no culprit was found on the spot. Some employees were found there, along with questioning them, the entire flat was searched.

After the information received from the security personnel, the police took possession of two vehicles registered in the name of Atiq Ahmed’s family. These vehicles are being told as Mercedes and Land Cruiser SUVs. After taking paperwork, both the vehicles have been deposited in the metropolitan police station.

Describing the Prayagraj incident as sad, CM Yogi said “The government has taken cognisance of it and the results of our policy of zero tolerance for crime would be there for everyone to see very soon. No one should have any doubts about it.”
