Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently inaugurated a three-day festival for individuals with physical disabilities, emphasizing the importance of providing more platforms for showcasing their talents. Uttar Pradesh takes the lead with two universities dedicated to persons with physical disabilities, showcasing the state’s commitment to their welfare.

Yogi Adityanath Announces Increased Pension. Yogi Adityanath, during the event, announced plans to enhance the monthly pension for individuals with physical disabilities from ₹1,000 to further support their financial well-being. Notably, those suffering from leprosy are already benefiting from a ₹3,000 monthly pension. The Chief Minister highlighted the BJP government’s unwavering support for the physically challenged, aiming to empower them to contribute towards India’s self-reliance.

Additionally, Yogi Adityanath disclosed the existence of 21 schools, 18 daycare centers, and three facilities catering specifically to individuals with intellectual disabilities in the state. During the event, he distributed 100 tricycles, hearing aids, and motorized cycles.

Yogi Adityanath Announces Increased Pension for people with physical disabilities. The Chief Minister took the opportunity to felicitate accomplished sportspersons, including Aditya Yadav in badminton, Akash Saini in cricket, and Rati Mishra in judo.

In another event in Sant Kabir Nagar, Yogi Adityanath blessed 591 couples at a community marriage event and laid the foundation stone for 114 development projects worth ₹360 crore. During the Maghar Mahotsav, he highlighted the transformative impact of Saint Kabir on the region, turning it from a challenging place into a prosperous one. The Chief Minister’s words emphasized the cultural and historical significance of Maghar, acknowledging the positive changes attributed to Saint Kabir’s presence.
