New Delhi: The Meteorological Department has warned that rain and hailstorms are likely to occur over Rajasthan and large parts of western and central India before Holi. Holi festival will be celebrated across the country on March 7 and 8. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast showers and hailstorms from Saturday to Wednesday due to tropical weather systems.

New Delhi: Summer has started in most states of the country. In some states, the temperature has reached between 35 and 37 degrees. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department informed that a fresh western disturbance will be active from February 28, which will affect the western Himalayan regions. According to IMD, from February 28 to March 02, rain or snowfall activities can be seen in many hilly areas.

Due to this Western Disturbance, light to moderate scattered rain or snow is likely over Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad and isolated rain/snow over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand
