Two new SC judges take oath, top court at full strength of 34

New Delhi: Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud on Monday administered the oath of office to two new judges of the country's top court.President Draupadi Murmu has signed the warrant of appointment of Justice Rajesh Bindal and Justice Arvind Kumar in the Supreme Court. The new judges were inducted in the Supreme Court on Monday at 10.30 am after the swearing-in ceremony.

Sikkim: 4.3 magnitude of earthquake strikes Yuksom

New Delhi: Earthquake tremors were felt in Sikkim in the early hours of Monday. The intensity of the earthquake was 4.3 on the Richter scale. The tremors of the earthquake were felt around 4:15 in the morning. According to the National Center for Seismology, the tremors occurred 70 km northwest of Yuksom.

Assam: 4.0 magnitude of Earthquake hits Nagaon

Assam: Mild tremors of earthquake were felt in Nagaon district of Assam on Sunday. According to the National Center for Seismology, where the intensity of the earthquake on the Richter scale has been measured at 4.0. At present, there is no information about any loss of life or property due to the earthquake.

IMD forecast predicts snowfall on mountains, light to moderate rain alert in these states

According to IMD, from February 12, 2023, there is a possibility of reduction in the period of light, moderate rain and snowfall in the Western Himalayas. According to the Meteorological Department, rain has been expected in some areas of Jammu-Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Ladakh during the next 24 hours.
