New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department forecast predicts moderate to heavy rain is expected in Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Sikkim and Bihar today and tomorrow i.e. 30-31 March. Today, hailstorm may also occur in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, due to which farmers may have to suffer loss of wheat crop along with other crops.
According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there may be light to moderate rain and snowfall in Ladakh, Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh during the next 24 hours. Apart from this, there is a possibility of light rain in Assam, Jammu, Sikkim and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The temperature of the weather is increasing rapidly in North India. According to private weather agency Skymet, during the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature was 5 degrees or more than normal at most places in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat region. The tremors of the earthquake were felt around 4:15 in the morning. According to the National Center for Seismology, the tremors occurred 70 km northwest of Yuksom.
