Bengaluru Aero India 2023: HAL removes Lord Hanuman’s image from trainer jet model fin

New Delhi: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) on Tuesday removed the image of Lord Hanuman from the rear of the HLFT-42 aircraft model displayed at the Aero India 2023 event in Bengaluru. This comes a day after HAL unveiled a scale model of the Hindustan Lead In Fighter Trainer (HLFT-42), which also featured a picture of Lord Hanuman on the vertical fin of the trainer.

SC dismisses plea challenging delimitation in Jammu & Kashmir

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed a petition challenging the delimitation done for redrawing assembly and Lok Sabha constituencies in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Justice SK Kaul and Justice AS Oka passed the order on a petition challenging the delimitation exercise carried out in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Two new SC judges take oath, top court at full strength of 34

New Delhi: Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud on Monday administered the oath of office to two new judges of the country's top court.President Draupadi Murmu has signed the warrant of appointment of Justice Rajesh Bindal and Justice Arvind Kumar in the Supreme Court. The new judges were inducted in the Supreme Court on Monday at 10.30 am after the swearing-in ceremony.

IMD forecast issues strong winds blow from Punjab to UP, rain and snowfall in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, during February 12 to 14, there is also a possibility of strong winds (speed of 25-35 km per hour) in some parts of the plains of northwest India. According to IMD, there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall at different places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Nagaland from February 12 to 16, along with lightning accompanied by thunder.
