The victim, Raju (50), was a beggar and belonged to the third gender as per official records. He was known for his devotion to Mother Durga and would often worship the Goddess while wearing a saree. On that fateful morning, Raju left his home at 5:30 am to perform puja at the Bhimarai temple in town.
As per the surveillance camera footage, the incident unfolded on January 20, 2024 at around 5:30 am. Secunderabad police has launched an investigation. The victim survived the attack.
The Telangana Legislative Assembly on Monday approved a groundbreaking bill to ban hookah parlours. Telangana: An official said that a man allegedly killed his 23-year-old girlfriend with an axe as she started avoiding him after her family planned for her arranged marriage. The man was identified as Srikanth in Shivaji nagar, Khanapar, Nirmal district of Telangana.
