Telangana: On Monday, Telangana Chief Minister and Congress leader Revanth Reddy has been summoned by the Delhi Police. According to a report, Delhi Police took this action in the case of a tampered video of Union Home Minister Amit Shah being circulated on social media. Reddy has been asked to appear with his mobile phone allegedly used for posting the fake video on X, they added.
Telangana: Seven intermediate students, including two girls, allegedly died by suicide across Telangana hours after the state board released the results of the Intermediate Public Examination 2024 for the first (equivalent of Class 11) and second year (Class 12).
Telangana: On Thursday morning, an official said that Six persons, including a girl child died after a car they were traveling in collided with a stationary truck. After receiving information about this incident local police reached on the spot.
Any casualty was avoided as the incident occurred after midnight when no one was around. The villagers informed the police about the incident on Tuesday.
New Delhi: On Thursday, The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested jailed Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC and daughter of former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, K Kavitha in connection with the now-scrapped Delhi liquor policy case. The arrest comes days after the probe agency questioned her in jail, where she is in judicial custody.
The Election Commission (ECI) has suspended 106 government employees in Siddipet district of Telangana for violating the Model Code of Conduct (MCC). These employees have been suspended for attending the meeting of Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS). Official sources said on Tuesday that a large number of government employees had attended the meeting held in a function hall on the night of April 7.

Chennai: According to official documents, The Chennai Customs has issued summons to Ponguleti Harsha Reddy, son of a Telangana minister, for his alleged involvement in smuggling of expensive watches worth crores of rupees. Customs sources said that Reddy was asked to appear on April 4 but in a letter dated April 3, he expressed his inability to appear, saying he was recovering from dengue fever, citing the letter.
Telangana: An official said that at least 30 monkeys were found dead in Nalgonda district of Telangana in a drinking water tank. The tanker was being used to supply drinking water to at least 200 families in Hill Colony.
