IMD forecast predicts rain and thunderstorm occur in 11 states including Delhi-Maharashtra today

According to the information, light to moderate rains with gusty winds are expected in different parts of Maharashtra today. Mumbai Meteorological Department has given the information. According to the IMD, strong winds are expected in Pune, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed, Sangli, Solapur and Ratnagiri in Maharashtra today. Also light to moderate rain may occur at these places with lightning.

New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted rain in many parts of the country today.The IMD said in a statement that scattered to widespread light/moderate rains with thunderstorms, lightning/gusty winds are likely over Western Himalayan region, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
